June 29 - July 1, 2012: The following package is available with Coach Boeheim offering you The Official SU College Basketball Experience. Going through all of the same drills, offensive and defensive sets, analyzing game footage, team practices and more.
This unique opportunity is being offered to men age 35 plus and space will be limited to 35 Men across the country. First come first serve.
The Jim Boeheim Official College Basketball fantasy Camp is available as an exclusive offer with limited enrollment at a $5,500 fee.
Package Details
- $5,500 per person
- Includes room, board and all amenities
- 1 massage scheduled after day 1 from the Mirbeau Inn & Spa.
- 2 uniforms including shorts and jersey’s
- 1 pair Nike B-ball shoes and gym bag
- 3 games played per day set up tournament style. Morning, midday and evening games. In between games teams will meet to discuss strategies and set up practice time to implement offensive and defensive sets.
- Exclusive use of the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center (cold tub, hot tubs, meeting rooms)
- Campers will be taught The Jim Boeheim SU Basketball 2-3 Zone.
- Autograph opportunities, team photos and more….
- All game stats will be recorded and posted in the am after each day.
- 10 pm card game including drinks and finger foods at The University Sheraton Monday night.
- All guests will be staying at the University Sheraton. Breakfast both mornings and dinner day 1.
- Dinner day 2 at a restaurant TBD
- 4 teams with 8-9 players per team, and 1 active or former Pro, The cut off is 35 players.
- Jim Boeheim will coach Team 1, Mike Hopkins Team 2, Gerry McNamara Team 3 and Lazarus Sims Team 4.
- Each Team will receive mulitple helpers.
- Each team will have a former SU star playing with them for 1 game on day two’s morning game. John Wallace, Roosevelt Bouie, Gerry McNamara and Lawrence Moten will be the active players.
- Information and coaching sessions from Derrick Coleman, Billy Owens, Pearl Washington and more.
- Games will consist of four 8 minute Quarters running time. Last minute of each quarter will stop.
- Teams will be decided after first 2 hour morning practice and drills. There will be a silent draft among coaches and administration. Teams will then be selected.
- Camp will run June 29 - July 1.
- Camp attendees may request a number for their uniforms
- Each camp attendee will receive his own locker and name on locker. Full shower and laundry available daily. After camp take off shorts etc and bring to laundry room. All laundry will be in your locker for the 9am start.
