Wilson Park
Last summer, Coach Boeheim and Carmelo Anthony, with the support of several generous sponsors, completed a project that included; tearing up the old pavement and dismantling the damaged and aging equipment; re-surfacing two basketball courts; painting and refurbishing fencing around the courts; and installing four new basketball hoops complete with breakaway rims and padded poles. When the work was completed, the grand opening ceremony included a basketball tournament, complimentary food and beverages, basketball jerseys for the kids and opportunities’s for the whole community to interact, get autographs, and enjoy themselves. Renovations also included a monument to dedicate the park, which was generously contributed by LandMasters.
